The belfry, standing 104 meters high, is the higher of the region and is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage from 2005. From the terrace, enjoy a 360° view of Lille and the surroundings. The tourist office allows you to discover the most beautiful panorama of the town. Designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage site, this tower was erected in 1440. It was the bell-tower of Saint-Eloi church until a fire separated the two buildings in 1558. On the 5th floor there is a restored chime of 50 bells. The visit begins with a ride in the lift to the chime. The height offers a staggering view over the Dunkerque area. The Wellington quarry plays back the history of the Battle of Arras in 1917.
