On the heights of Mount Cassel, the museum of Flanders, housed in the Hotel de la Noble-Court, an exceptional building of the sixteenth century, has set itself the goal of promoting Flemish culture in a new and non-pastistic spirit. Beyond the permanent collection, it presents temporary exhibitions that make it possible to discover to all the public themes still little studied of the Flemish culture and art by treating them with a scientific rigor which gives them an international scope.
