Musée de Flandre

On the heights of Mount Cassel, the museum of Flanders, housed in the Hotel de la Noble-Court, an exceptional building of the sixteenth century, has set itself the goal of promoting Flemish culture in a new and non-pastistic spirit. Beyond the permanent collection, it presents temporary exhibitions that make it possible to discover to all the public themes still little studied of the Flemish culture and art by treating them with a scientific rigor which gives them an international scope. Many of his exhibitions have been awarded the "National Interest Exhibition" label. Train : station "Cassel" (+ 30 minutes walking distance until the Grand Place). Open Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 12:30 and 2 pm to 6 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. Closed Mondays, 01/01, 01/05 and 25/12. From March 16th to July 14th, open every day from 10am to 6pm.
