Maison natale Charles de Gaulle

A historic monument labelled "Maison des illustres", the Maison natale Charles de Gaulle aims to enable the widest possible audience to discover the childhood and genesis of the man who was to become the most illustrious of the French. Entirely restored in 2020, the house recreates the atmosphere of an interior characteristic of the industrial bourgeoisie of Northern France at the end of the 19th century. Bus stops : - Winston Churchill (lines 9, 14, 50) - Magasin (line 10) - or Navette du Vieux Lille (ask for the stop in rue Saint Sébastien). Open every day except Tuesday from 10 am to 6 pm.
